Dear Friends,

Just as I was taking out my backpack from the car coming back from
the hike to Farsh elRommana (Ma3roufeya actually) in the beautiful
mountains wadis of Katrina... just then, I got a call from my friend
Rabie Barakat the very young Sheikh of Aliqat tribe in Serabit
elKhadim.

He's taking some photographers down to Nuweiba tomorrow to watch the
famous Camel Race of the bedouins of the Sinai (if you don't know
those guys take it very seriously and it's their World Cup where the
Hero of the winning tribe becomes really more than rich).

Anyways, you're more than welcome to join him to watch the races
(this time is only 15 kms in the wadis near Nuweiba.)

If you need to get in touch with him, his phone numbers is at the
bottom of his homepage on:
http://www.geocities.com/rabiebarakat/index.html

As for the mountain hike on the snows of Sinai, that'll be another
story that I am sure will knock your socks of. Now where are the
reports guys who joined me to Farsh elRommana???? :)

Salaam,
Mohamed Mabrouk
