Sahar,
That was quite informative..the thing I found most interesting is: "even
something ugly could be called art"..yes, some people find art in trash, & that
gave rise to what is known as "Trash Art".
In fact, I believe art is in the eyes of the beholder as they say..I believe
that art is life intensely experienced, as conveyed through some sort of
expression..
Even a guy yelling out of anger down the street is in an essence an artist! &
his reaction is the "art of everyday life" if you get what I mean..

Art touches us at many levels, & the function it serves for the audience is not
necessarily the same function it serves for the artist that created the
artwork..

Let me put forward some quotes that I found most interesting about art:

- "I don't see things, I see THROUGH things" - Edvard Munch
- "An artist is one who can inspire others" - Salvador Dali
- "Art is like drugs..I don't do drugs, I AM drugs!" - Salvador Dali

Any one for more ideas/quotes?

Camel

Dear all,

Let me add for Art:-

Art is the inner thought of oneself
Art is your freedom of expression
Art is a way out of frustration
Art is a picture of me and you
Art is my own possession
Art is a word of consolation
Art is a mixture of feeling
roughly expressed and unsurely perceived

Art might be ...............
A ction
R emoving
T ense

Thanks
NG
