نَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Those who say: "Our Lord is Allah," and thereafter stood firm and straight on their belief, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

(Surat Al Ahqaf (46-13)

There's no need to suffer, God is the Merciful...
