Guidelines to Authors
Few Guidelines apply as follows:
- Themes have to be useful to the Travelers in the Middle-east: localised to the best of the efforts of the Authors.
- No copying from other sources: summaries accepted, but compiled from different sources are the best, written in your own words and based on your informants opinions. Mention of some of the important sources is necessary.
There are only 3 main types of Contents that are encouraged on SaharaSafaris.org at this stage:
- Collaborative Articles: those are project pages which a team is working on. A team leader starts it and other contribute their parts. A team could be specific and meeting regularly to plan the rest of the page (recommended) or started and left for the Community to update whenever more updates are available.
- Author-Locked Articles: those could be 'edited' in the future only by their author. Should be used in cases of single-trips reports or impressions of areas. etc.
- Lodges Database: avoid multinational Hotels which are well advertised. used for thsoe special atmospheres in special areas. Ecolodges definitions included and even more encouraged than others.
Enjoy the sharing! :)
