2-Outdoors
Organizing trips for others is a joy for many of us. Have you enjoyed it before with a group of your friends?
Photography proved to be a formidable skill in Safaris. An increasing number of Safarists are demanding photography-trips and many have had their first Photo Exhibitions through SaharaSafaris. Check here if you own SLR camera.
Check here if you have any sort of diving license which allows you to dive without an Instructor.
Check here if you have actually read books in anything related to Nature or Culture of the Middle-East: history, desert geomorphology (=landforms), marine biology, sociology/anthropology, etc.
Check here if you've flied gliders, parasailing, parachuted, ballooning, etc. Check here with any level of experience as long as you think you can organize such activities for others.
Are you practicing kite-surfing, skiing, etc.? check here please.
A sleeping bag good for the mild desert winter night is all you need to camp in the Sahara. Check here if you own one. Other items such as tents, and shades are ok too.
Check here if you've hiked for at least 2 days camping overnight anywhere in the world. If you've walked Sinai Mountains, please indicate so (in 'Activities' below).
Ability to read maps for basic desert navigation and maybe owning maps for favourite areas of Safaris is the sign of any serious Safarist (GPS usage is unsafe otherwise). Check here if you can handle coordinates on maps.
Check here if you own a 4x4 SUV even if you still haven't learnt how to handle desert driving.
Please mention all your activities with special focus on ones related to travelling in Sahara, Cities and around the world.
Include your existing hobbies/experiences in anything specially those related to nature and local culture (ie, diving, photography, archaeology, hiking, etc.) and what you wish to grow to such as "Leading my circle of friends to safe 4x4 safaris", "Leading tours for special Moulids and reporting on the local habits", etc.
