A Multinational organization in EGYPT is seeking a GIS and Database
specialist for a short term appointment (maximum of 6-7 months)
starting June 2006.
Duties and Tasks:
? Analyze geospatial data using GIS (mainly vector-based).
? Develop quality control mechanisms for geospatial data acquisition
and analysis.
? Develop technical reports and streamline data flow
? Other duties as required that are related to database management
and GIS (web design, mapping, graphics, data entry, data collection,
etc)
Qualifications and skills:
o MSc degree in geographic information management and/or systems
o At least 5 years working experience in geographic information
management and/or systems
o Excellent skills in technical writings and presentations
o Good command of both English and Arabic languages
o Can work independently and self motivated
o Good leadership, and communication skills
o Strong analytical skills
o Willingness to learn and travel outside Egypt
o Ability to research and selectively identify and collect
geospatial data needed

I am in charge of developing a GIS system for a health
research institute for data sharing and reports system
over the net.
I developed some ArcIMS maps based on a research
outcome data before.
I am wondering if any body combined using Crystal
reports with ArcIMS together, I f any body did Can I
get some web links, that will help me boost my start
and to get some different ideas
Any help will be appreciated
