Dear All,
Happy new year
I have a problem which requires making a vb programme that picks the
nuber of points inside a polygon. Is there any reference for using vb
with arcgis?Or any advice?

Dear Walid,

There are references to using VB6 and VB.NET through the developer help menu option, or the http://edn.esri.com/. However, you have to make the distinction of programming in VBA (within ArcGIS) or producing COM components outside ArcGIS. both approaches have samples in the help pages.

Ahmed
