help learn arc-objects

Al salam alaykom
I'm a civil engineer graduate .
i finished courses on Desktop ArcMap , i know 2 programming languages c# , Java
I'd like to learn Arc-Objects as self study , i 'd like to be specialized in that field - i mean
development in the Gis field .
i want your advise , how to start , which programming language is the commonly used?

Hi Nabil,

You can start by attending the first course "Introduction to programming ArcObjects with VBA" then attend the course "Extending the ArcGIS desktop applications" (this one is offered using VB6, VB.NET and C#

The most popular is VB6, but if you are starting, then .NET is the way to go. Java is good if you are heading ArcGIS Server way.
