Where to start to improve my knowledge?

Hello there,
I know it's been a long time since I wrote to the Shella.But since I had a
long time to sit down and think about my life in these past couple of weeks I
came down to this question, which I would like to share with you guys:

Is okay at THIS AGE (25) to feel lost? Not lost in what i want..but i feel
that I am turning into an airhead :( I look at myself and feel that I am
starting to lose track of this world.. Science I know nothing ..Politics
nothing, history nothing....not even religion. I can never go into any debates
coz simply i don't feel i have a piont of view .
Now I am starting to feel ashamed..all i Could do is help people solve there
little daily problems, try and help them in need..kedda yani, but if ever Iam
asked to express my point of view in anything i am silent.

I am lost between two cultures...I feel I have no identy.I have no idea about
Egypt and no idea about America. My Arabic is so poor and my English is
becoming limited . I try to read , but I feel it's not enough,or I get bored
or I simply don't understand. For instance, If I read about something,I feel
this sounds okay. But what do I know about the rest to say if it is Good or
bad.Am I making sense here? The question is Where should I start ? What should I do?

Thanks
Sue Emara

Dear Sue,
Knowledge is knowledge whatever you read. There is nothing more important or nothing is more worthy to read. I believe that your first hand experience in working with people, helping them out, and solving their problems is a greater knowledge that would not be found in books. You got the topping now tuck into the cake (have I said that!!!! how delicious!!!) .

Read whatever you want. You are still in your prime and you have many years head to accumulate knowledge and hand out your experiences. My advice is to have fun and enjoy whatever you read.. I just discovered the wonderful world of children fiction with my daughter and enjoying every minute of it.

All the best to every shellawy and shellaweyaa

Dear Sue Emara,
Dear shella members

Greetings from my mind, my heart and my soul

i have wanted to write an answer to your valuable question since you wrote it but was lucky enough to delay my post and see some answers from our friends here. very few of us are brave enough to face their lack of knowledge. true by being a (samaritan)you show knowledge of what a human being should be like but this is not where to begin..the right sequence is to learn about your creator then learn about his creation. when you have learned a bit about him (just enough to be a believer..he will guide you to the knowledge of his creation). if your system is arabic enabled i could send you some more on the subject by arabic writers. take care you all
