Where is everyone?

First written by nadiaibrahim and 0 others, on Mon, 2008/12/29 - 6:14am, and has been viewed by unique users

Just noticed very low number of posts in the last 4 months.
Is there a new group, that everyone migrated to? el-shella has been
a very helpful group and hate to lose all the advice and comments.
Thanks.
Nadia

well i can take the chance and ask about good beauty center for a wedding day in the area of Abbas Akkad or around it, not too expensive
if anyone would help me with any opinion i would be very grateful
Happy new Hijri year and Merry Christmas

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh yes ..... you noticed it too? thought it was
me .. or that my firewall was shutting out all the interesting
stuff. well i'm glad to say that starting this month there has been
a very slow and tiny trickle of messages [amazingly they could be
counted on one hand!!] but still it's a releaf that something is
getting through ..

hope to see a lot more of the shellawaya posts from now on.!!!!
[fingers crossed].

Hi;

It seems that most Yahoo groups have had less participation, lately.
But, anyway, something has come to my attention. Travel writers say
that many young people in Egypt ask foreigners, "How do I get to
America?" as if the opportunities are great. But, my question has
long been, "How do I get to Egypt?" Since I started College, I have
always had one or two Egyptian friends here or there who have acted as
gentle spiritual advisers. When I do not hear enough from them, I
start to feel sad. Sometimes, I just wish I could teach English to
poor kids in Egypt in return for living expenses.

Dear Nadia,

My Appologies for your messages bouncing back during the past few
weeks.

After 10 successful years of el-shella it is becoming really
time consuming to moderate all the spam, arabic ads, political forwards
and the one-liner "hi" messages while passing the useful discussions that made our group successful over the years.

To keep the quality and personal atmosphere of this family oriented group manual moderation is still needed, with my kid arriving while doing an MBA it gets hectic sometimes, so you have to bare with me till I stabilize my life back :-)

I'll revise the group rules to stress the need for all members to
follow the clear simple rules that they accepted when they first joined; as I'll have to start blocking some uncompliant names that insist to break those rules.

Thank you for understanding
Mo
